Three Dresses

I participated in the Color Throwdown Challenge again this week. This challenge is worth checking out! They have had some great combos! This week was Wild Wasabi, So Saffron and Purely Pomegranate. As usual, I matched the colors as closely as I could with my Adirondack inks and Bazzill cardstock. This is one of my favorite images from Serendipity Stamps.

Stamps: Serendipity Stamps (Three Dresses)
Cardstock: Bazzill Textured and Smoothies
Inks: Ranger Archival (Jet Black), Adirondack (Meadow, Butterscotch, Cranberry)
Accessories: buttons, ribbon

More Knitting

I have been trying out a lot of new ideas for knitted toys and other cute things. Some ideas have worked, other's haven't. LOL

Today I finished up a snake that my nephew requested. I ended up using an entire skein of Bernat Softee Chunky. It is 33 inches long.

Loom: Knifty Knitter Flower Loom
Yarn: Bernat Softee Chunky (Circus, Berry Red)
Other: Safety Eyes

I also created some chocolatey goodness! I made a chocolate donut and a chocolate cupcake and added a little yarn icing to each.

Loom: Knifty Knitter Spool Loom (donut) and Flower Loom (cupcake)
Yarn: Bernat Softee Chunky (Natural, Soft Taupe), Lion Brand Vanna's Choice (Chocolate)

Note: I will now be posting all of my loom knitted creations on my new blog Musings From The Loomy Bin. Hope to see you there! :)

Pink Chocolate Paisley Stripe

I love the Inspiration Challenge on SCS this week. The inspiration was to pick any tote from this website and "recreate" it. These were definitely fun colors to work with!

Stamps: Pink Cat Studio (Paisley Plate #1)
Paper/Cardstock: Bazzill Smoothies, DCWV
Inks: ColorBox Fluid Chalk (Chestnut Roan, Rouge, Lime Pastel)
Accessories: Double sided satin ribbon

NPOTW - Glue Dots Dot n Go

Apply Craft Glue Dots faster, easier and cleaner with the New Dot N'Go! The new Dot N' Go dispenser applies instant bonding Craft Glue Dots adhesives one at a time or several at once. Great for scrapbooking, woodworking, home decor and school projects. No-mess Craft Glue Dots bond to most surfaces including paper, plastic, metal, wood, foam, textiles and more.

As someone who is a huge fan of Glue Dots, I am very excited about this product. I have not seen it in stores yet, but as soon as I do, I will be purchasing one. I always seem to get my Glue Dots stuck to everything (those buggers are really sticky...LOL!), so having it in a dispenser will make my craft area much cleaner! :)

Frog Gone Wild!

The Stamp Shack is having their Survivor Contest again. Each day during the contest there will be elimination statements so you need to try to make a card entry that won't be eliminated. Usually this would involve making your card really simple, not using common items or just making it way over the top. I decided to go for over the top. LOL

Stamps: DRS Designs
Cardstock: Bazzill
Inks: Ranger Archival (Jet Black), Adirondack (Lettuce)
Accessories: Jolee's By You embellishments

Ooh La La! Couleurs magnifiques!

No knitting today, but I did make a card for today's Color Throwdown Challenge #4. The colors are Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery and Black. I was able to match the colors much better this week. :) I absolutely love this combo! It is not something I normally would have pulled together.

Inks: Ranger Archival (Jet Black), Adirondack (Cool Peri, Lettuce)
Paper/Cardstock: Bazzill (Lavendar, Lilypad, Black)
Accessories: plaid ribbon
